The Garrett Guide is the successor to the Super Scanner V, the hand-held detector that has been the reference for security screening for close to forty years. It keeps the same one-hand simplicity but adds seven discrete sensitivity levels, an 8-inch scanning surface and a self-calibrating circuit that needs no manual tuning, so results stay consistent whoever is holding it.
This kit is the version for permanently staffed positions. The Guide sits upright in a securable charging base with LED charge level illumination, ready to grab and visible at a glance, and the supplied high-current adapter powers the base directly. The base is modular, so further units can be chained in sequence as a checkpoint grows.
