Description
Orange rope bag with a 7,450 ci (122 l) volume for carrying and deploying rope in industrial rope access, technical rescue and fire and rescue work.
This model #6 rope bag is made from 1,000-denier Cordura nylon and has a reach-in bottom, so a knotted rope end can be deployed from either side while it stays secure in transport.
It holds 650 ft (198 m) of 1/2 in (12.5 mm) rope or 800 ft (244 m) of 7/16 in (11 mm) rope, measured by firmly hand packing new rope to the base of the closure collar.
Key features
- Reach-in bottom — The reach-in bottom lets the bag be used easily from both ends.
- Shoulder straps — Contoured backpack-style shoulder straps with an integrated handle make heavy loads more comfortable to carry.
- Side carry handle — A side carry handle allows easy loading and unloading from apparatus and includes gear loop attachments.
- Rope I.D. sleeve — A clear-view sleeve holds rope I.D. and log information.
- Exterior gear loops — Exterior gear loops allow carabiners to be attached to the bag.
- Rip-stop nylon top — The bag top uses a rugged rip-stop nylon for easy closure, and grab handles inside the top hold the bag open for quicker stuffing.
- Internal tie-off loops — Sewn web loops at the base allow the rope end to be tied off internally or externally.
Typical applications
- Carrying and deploying rope for industrial rope access work
- Technical rope rescue and work-at-height operations
- Loading and unloading rope on fire and rescue apparatus
