Description
Lightweight modular sit harness in black, size large, for fast-moving technical teams in rescue, climbing, caving, tactical and military operations.
The Outback Convertible Harness lets each user configure the harness for the task at hand and share components in the field. Every team member wears the belt, edge personnel add leg loops, and vertical technicians use the full ensemble.
This is the large size in black. It is marked with a circumference range of 94 - 104 cm (37 - 41 in), and the maker recommends sizing up if you are between sizes or plan to wear several layers of clothing.
Key features
- Quick-connect Cobra Buckle — The waist belt is easily donned using the quick-connect Cobra Buckle.
- Narrow waist belt — The belt is a narrow 5 cm (2 in) wide, so it fits through most belt loops, and it is compatible with a number of Molle attachments.
- Leg loops without opening the belt — A patent-pending integration system adds the leg loops without opening the belt, giving a stable connection that keeps its position on the body.
- Fast leg loop assembly — Leg loops close with quick-connect Cobra Buckles and assemble in seconds, with no need to remove a backpack, skis, snowshoes or crampons.
- Aluminium D-ring — The aluminium D-ring is more durable than fabric and fits multiple connections without cross loading.
- Optional rear straps — Rear straps come with the leg loop assembly for added comfort when hiking and can be removed if no longer wanted.
- Add a chest unit — The chest unit integrates rapidly without opening the sit harness, is universally sized for sharing between team members, and adds a sternal attachment point for backup systems or helicopter operations.
- Chest ascender kit — A chest ascender kit quickly installs the lightweight Kong Futura Body mini chest ascender.
- Carry pouch and gear loops — A carry pouch made with water resistant X-50 fabric and gear loops that attach to the waist belt while it is being worn help organise and carry equipment.
