Description
Adjustable hi-viz orange hobble strap for securing the legs of an Arizona Vortex tripod, for confined-space and rescue teams.
This hobble strap uses 1-inch flat web fed through a quick-adjusting cam buckle, with two steel S-hooks that connect through Vortex Raptor Foot holes or around the Flat Foot joint. It adjusts in length up to 6 m (20 ft), so it can span between legs even where the hobble has to run over objects such as beams, curbs, stumps, rocks or uneven ground.
Straps are rated at 5 kN (1,124 lbf) and are sold individually; order three for a full set. Independent hobbles are a UL certification requirement when the Vortex is used in its tripod configuration.
