First focal plane long-range riflescope for precision rifle competition and extended-range field shooting.
The Cronus BTR GEN2 UHD 4.5-29x56 is the top of Athlon's tactical riflescope range. It is built on a 34 mm one-piece aircraft-grade aluminium tube with a high precision erector system, exposed turrets and a precision zero stop, and it carries UHD extra-low dispersion glass to hold contrast and colour at the top of the magnification range.
The magnification span and 56 mm objective suit stage work in precision rifle series matches, where the scope has to resolve target edges at distance and then return to a known zero between stages. The APRS6 first focal plane reticle keeps its subtension relationship to the target at every power setting, so ranging, holdover and wind holds stay valid whether the shooter dials or holds.
