Description
A 3-9x40 AccuPoint riflescope with a duplex crosshair and a tritium and fibre-optic illuminated green centre dot, for hunters and shooters.
This AccuPoint riflescope combines 3-9x magnification with a 40mm objective and a 1 in. tube. Its standard duplex crosshair carries an illuminated green centre dot, both by day and by night.
The reticle is illuminated by fibre optics and tritium, providing a vivid aiming point without the need for batteries. The reticle has no bullet drop compensation, the housing is 6061-T6 aluminium with a matte black finish, and the mount is not included.
Key features
- Battery-free illumination — Tritium and fibre optics keep the reticle always on and automatically adjust its brightness to the lighting conditions, with no batteries to change.
- Quick, easy adjustments — Crisp, precise windage and elevation adjusters require no tools and move in 1/4 MOA clicks over 50 MOA of total travel.
- Easy-focus eyepiece — The diopter accommodates the shooter's individual prescription for a sharp reticle.
- Multi-coated glass — Fully multi-coated, broadband, anti-reflective glass provides good light transmission, true detail and colour.
- Rugged construction — The ruggedised design is engineered to withstand extreme conditions, is tested to military standards and protocols and is submersible to 10 ft. (3m).
- Proven duplex reticle — The standard duplex crosshair gives fast target acquisition, with the illuminated centre dot drawing the eye to the aiming point.
Typical applications
- Hunting in changing light, from dawn to dusk, without relying on batteries.
- General-purpose rifles that need a variable-power scope for both close and longer shots.
- Sport shooting and practice where a simple, uncluttered reticle is preferred.
